We export Japanese alcoholic beverages overseas, and import and wholesale overseas alcoholic beverages in Japan. We are based in Yatsushiro, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan.

Sake (seishu), single-distilled shochu (honkaku shochu), mirin, liqueurs, and our own original brands. Continuous-distilled shochu (korui) is outside the scope of our current licence.

Categories outside our current licence can often still be handled, by applying to have the conditions of our licence relaxed. This requires a letter of consent from the producer or distillery, and takes approximately one to two months. Please contact us with the products you have in mind.

Please note: we cannot handle second-hand or auction-sourced products, as the supply route cannot be documented.

Unfortunately not. We have no authorised supply route for major manufacturers' products, and the documentation required for export cannot be assembled without the manufacturer's cooperation. We handle products from breweries and distilleries with which we have a direct trading relationship.

We wholesale to licensed liquor retailers in Japan, covering the whisky and spirits we import ourselves. For products from Japanese breweries we work on export only, and do not wholesale them domestically.

Individual customers can purchase honkaku shochu and liqueurs through our online store, “Shochu Atlas”, and imported whisky through “Texas Whiskey Japan”. Bars and restaurants are also welcome to order there.

Yes, we are happy to hear from you. As context for our assessment, we have two sales channels in Japan:

• Wholesale to licensed liquor retailers
• Mail-order sales through our own online store

Under the terms of our liquor sales licence, we cannot wholesale directly to bars, clubs or restaurants. If those venues are the intended main channel for your product, we may not be the right partner for you.

To help us respond quickly, please include:

• The product's classification under Japanese liquor tax law, plus ABV and volume
• Expected retail price range in Japan
• Minimum order quantity and shipping unit
• Whether the product has been imported into Japan before

Please understand that we assess each enquiry against the scale and channels we work with, and cannot take on every proposal.
